It was finally time to get back to the studio today! (Not for long though - the endless falling of snow meant it shut early so we only stayed there till lunch.)
Anyway, I managed to steal one of the skeletons (as planned) and did a few sketches of the bones, following my life/death comparison idea.
I then had a go on the tablet again, sketching animal skulls from a photograph taken the other day in Oxford.I'm not too confident in colouring, due to being unfamiliar with drawing digitally. I've only ever sketched and coloured using traditional media, so I'm currently experimenting with lots of layers on low opacities gradually building up tone and highlights.
